Romashka is a driving force in New York City's burgeoning gypsy and balkan music scene, playing gypsy and folk music from Russia, Romania, the Balkans, and beyond. Lithuanian-born singer Inna Barmash fronts a band nine wildly versatile NY musicians, denizens of fertile downtown grounds. At full blast, Romashka has a violin, viola, accordion, guitar, trumpet, clarinet/saxophone, tuba, and percussion. Based in New York, the band was born in fits and torrents in the fall of 2003. Roaming from cafes and all-night jams, to apartment parties and subway stops, the band quickly catapulted to pulsating clubs and underground parties, drawing a loyal - and swiftly growing - following from downtown party revelers and outer-borough-dwelling ethnic communities alike.

BROOKLYN, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 15, 2007 -- Aladdin Beverage (PINKSHEETS: ADTJ), importer and distributor of fine beer and ale throughout the United States, is pleased to announce that the company will host the "Taste the World" Beer Tasting on Thursday, May 31st to sample some of the fine beers in the Aladdin import portfolio at The Annex in New York City ( http://www.theannexnyc.com). The beer tasting will be held from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, where attendees will enjoy tastes of each of the following beers along with complimentary appetizers and live entertainment.
Macau Beer - Macau, China
Macau is a true "Euro-Asian" beer. It is brewed using advanced Japanese equipment with the finest European ingredients. The Macau pale lager is a refreshing, light, subtle, yet smooth tasting pale lager with just a hint of fresh malt and citrus flavor -- it tastes wonderful with food or just by itself.
Devassa Tropical Lager - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Devassa Blonde, referred to as a Tropical Lager, is made from selected malts and is light and refreshing. It maintains the honesty of it roots with a distinct Micro Beer taste and feel. Currently, it is the fastest growing and most popular beer in Rio de Janeiro.
"For centuries, beer and food have been enjoyed together as part of the good life. The grain-based nature of beer makes it a food in itself, and the huge range of flavors, aromas & textures makes it a perfect match for nearly any kind of food, and in order to best explain to potential customers and investors the unique characteristics and ultimate value of our products we decided to host this 'Taste the World' Beer Tasting at The Annex," stated Teddy O'Connor, President of Aladdin Beverage. "The Annex is a fun and exciting place in a great part of the City, so people will have a lot of fun, as well as taste some great beers. Please tell your friends and family that are over 21 to join us on Thursday. We look forward to seeing you there!"
Attendees are required to be over the age of 21 in order to attend. For more information on the event or company information please visit Aladdin's newly redesigned website at http://www.aladdinbeverage.com.
