Catch up with old friends and meet new ones at Generation R's biggest event of the summer. Enjoy dinner under the stars followed by tusovka with live party band Romashka. The evening will begin with an acoustic performance by Vjola Lounge Duo, perfect lounge music for a night of heavy zakuski and Zyr vodka*. After a candlelit dinner set to live background music, Lithuanian-born lead singer Inna Barmash and her band will have you on your feet with their "brassy Balkan beats, sexy string and accordion syncopations and Russian tangos...". Do not miss the fun at this exclusive Generation R event of the summer.
Registration strongly suggested. Limited to 150 people.

ABOUT ROMASHKA
Romashka is a driving force in New York City's burgeoning gypsy and balkan music scene, playing gypsy and folk music from Russia, Romania, the Balkans, and beyond. Lithuanian-born singer Inna Barmash fronts a band wildly versatile NY musicians, denizens of fertile downtown grounds. Based in New York, the band was born in fits and torrents in the fall of 2003. Roaming from cafes and all-night jams, to apartment parties and subway stops, the band quickly catapulted to pulsating clubs and underground parties, drawing a loyal - and swiftly growing - following from downtown party revelers and outer-borough-dwelling ethnic communities alike.
"This lethal dose of gypsy fire water distilled from the Carpati to Canal street, Romashka will kick you in the ass and sing about it ... My vote for their gig as the numero uno gypsy impostor jam bound to destroy the mtv scene bellow 14th street. Or to put it in the succinct words of a drunken fan, cutting the adrenaline/liquor cloud of their june performance, 'RRROMASHKAAAAAA!!!'"
-----DJ Joro-Boro, the Bulgarian Bar
"A Balkan beat, gypsy fire, a Serbian brass band, a sexy vocalist, a dazzling show... This is hot music for cold nights; Romashka rocks." --- AllAboutJazz
